Israel has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world and a modern industry spread across the Golan Heights, Galilee, the Judean Hills, Samson, and the Negev. Each region's climate shapes very different styles, from cool-climate whites to full-bodied reds.
Many Israeli wines are kosher, but not all kosher wines are Israeli, and not every Israeli winery is kosher-certified. Check the label for the certifying authority and look for 'mevushal' if the wine will be served by non-observant staff at events.
Our Israeli wine brands page lists wineries and wine businesses reviewed for the directory. Visit each winery's own site for current vintages, shipping availability, and tasting-room hours.
